Good to hear that people are looking for security on their tablets also. As it is understood that VPN enables user with full security feature either one wants to set it on his PC or wants it on mobile / tablet devices. Connecting Tablet with VPN is as simple as connecting with other devices you just need to follow some simple steps and configuration can be possible which empower your device to prevent your data from any sniffer and other sources or can easily let you access to block sites around the world. Here i will share the steps to configure iPad VPN Tablet Step 1: Go to Settings Step 2: Then go to General Step 3: Then go to Network Step 4: You get there something spelled V-P-N, go there. Step 5: Add VPN Configuration. Now, what to add, add your VPN provider’s configurations, that have been provided by them while you signed up. For Example: Server = pptp.vpnprovider(dot) (it will be provided by your VPN provider) Account = Username (it will be your ‘username’ ) RSA Secure ID = Keep it off Encryption = Keep it on Auto Password = Enter your password here being provided by your VPN provider e.g. XXXXXXXX Send all Traffic = Keep it ON Now after creating a VPN configuration you can also activate it and deactivate it. You will find an option of Turning Off and ON your VPN connection just beside where VPN is written in your Settings > Network area. If you want to deactivate the VPN, please make sure to turn off your Wifi first. As you know, it is extremely insecure to use WiFi on your iPad or iPhone without VPN or encryption. |
